Hyon launched dual-DMB navigation ‘D5, Recently introduced in Korea market, this device comes with a DMB module that integrates both T-DMB and S-DMB receivers into one (a world’s first incase you didn’t know). Inside a compact 22mm-thick box. Side-by-side with SiRF III GPS chipset. With specs, Hyon D5 DMB GPS features a MagicEyes MP2531F (MMSP2+L) processor, Samsung’s 800×480 (WVGA) display, built-in 1.5w dual-speaker, and an integrated DMB antenna. Two capacity variants are available at the moment: 2GB 520 USD and 4GB 552 USD.
Canon lauched the professional photography market with 21 Megapixel, 5 Frame per second EOS-1Ds.

Image quality
The EOS-1Ds Mark III produces files that exceed the standard resolution requirements of leading agencies and stock libraries. The third generation CMOS sensor incorporates a new pixel design with on-chip noise reduction circuitry to ensure high image quality all the way to ISO 1600. 14 bit A/D converters provide a total colour depth of 16,384 tones per pixel - delivering smoother gradations and more accurate colour reproduction.
The option to expand to H:3200 will be welcomed by professionals working in churches and sensitive situations where the use of flash is not permitted or desired. Where discretion is paramount, a silent drive mode delays shutter re-cocking for as long as the shutter release remains depressed.
Highlight Tone Priority mode gives wedding and landscape photographers the option to boost dynamic range for highlights when shooting above ISO 200 – reproducing more tonal detail from wedding dresses, clouds and other bright objects.

Sanyo launched digital camcorder HD Xacti DMX-HD700 for personal user. The record for the world’s smallest and lightest 720p camcorder has changed hands. HD video can be recorded at either 6Mbps or 9Mbps. On an 8GB card this is good for almost 2 hours and 3 hours of footage, respectively. Much like its bigger brother, the DMX-HD1000, the DMX-HD700 records video in the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec. The Sanyo DMX-HD700 also features a 5x optical zoom and 2.7″ widescreen LCD. A docking cradle is included with HDMI, component, S-video, and composite outputs. The camcorder can be hooked up to your computer via USB 2.0 straight from the camcorder.The HD700 will be available in three colors: silver, red, and brown. The Sanyo DMX-HD700 will ship October 19 in Japan, and October 20th in the U.S. MSRP is set at 599.99 USD
