Megapixel myth!
The sensor won’t be larger than any of the 5MP cell phone cameras out there, the image will just be larger and
noisier.
Comparing cameras by their megapixel rating is not very helpful. Is the sensor in this phone as good as the one in
your 8MP digital camera? And is that as good as the 8MP digital SLR you bought last year?
It’s all about sensor size – for the same size sensor I’d take a smaller, clearer 5MP over a large noisy 8MP.
